The global design network was established in 2020. It was named Medelhan in honour of the capital of design, where it was founded. To celebrate their recurrent reunions the Medelhan's founders worked relentlessly for 112 weeks with their trusted distiller on the quest to create "the best gin in the world”.The result is NUMERO UNO an artisanal gin, distilled drop after drop with London Dry method, selecting only vintage botanics coming from the Alps, Sub Saharian Africa and South Korea.

NUMERO UNO has wiped away the gin concept as it is perceived and consumed today by opening up to a new idea of “absolute” gin. An alcoholic nectar characterized by an excellent quality that no longer relies on a specific custom, time or place, but only enhances the pleasure of its notes beyond time.
